Chopo Mwanza

Chopo Mwanza is a Graduate of Central Africa Baptist University; he holds a BA in Bible, CABU, M.A, Carolina University, Dmin, TMS. MABS (cand.) Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He lectures Counseling and Acts and Pauline Epistles. He serves as the Lead Pastor at Faith Baptist Riverside, Kitwe.

David Chabulembwa
Dean of Education
David Chabulembwa is the Dean of the School of Education at Central Africa Baptist University (CABU). David completed his first degree in 1981 at the University of Zambia (UNZA) majoring in Mathematics. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Copperbelt University (CBU) and masters in Mathematics Education (Med) from UNZA. Prior to joining CABU, David taught Mathematics at Copperbelt University.
Ken Banda
Dean of Students
Mr. Banda holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry from Mukuba University and a Masters of Art in Ministry from Carolina University (formerly known as Piedmont International University). Currently, he is pursuing his MDiv. At Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves as the Dean of Students and lectures Systematic Theology, Missions, and Biblical Counseling.
Kevin Sherman

Th.M. Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary; (Master of Theology (Prog.) Union School of Theology. Kevin Sherman lectures Greek, Critical Thinking as well as Systematic Theology. Kevin has been teaching at CABU since 2011.
Edward Mwanisa

Mr. Mwanisa is a Graduate of Central Africa Baptist University and also holds a Masters of Arts in Ministry with Carolina University. He serves as the the preaching chair of Philosophy and methodology of preaching Expository preaching I Expository preaching II. He has served as a Pastor for the last 19 years at Faith Baptist Church Kakolo, Zambia.

Kennedy Gondwe

Kennedy Gondwe is from Malawi. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Education- Bible Knowledge and History. MA Theology, Westminster Seminary California. He lectures Apologetics- Cults and Heresies at School of Bible, CABU.
Yohannes Getanah
Lecturer
Yohannes Getanah teaches adjunct in the Sign Language and Deaf Studies program. He has over two decades of experience in interpreting Sign Language, planting deaf churches, working with the deaf association (ZNAD), and directing deaf schools. He received his Master’s in Special Education from University of Zambia in 2017.
Cherith Hunt

Cherith Hunt is the Director of the Sign Language and Deaf Studies program since 2018. She holds a BA in Biblical Studies emphasis Counseling from Northland International University and is currently pursuing a Degree in Deaf Studies emphasis Sign Language Interpreting.
Timothy Murdoch
Lecturer
Dr. Murdoch holds a Doctor of Ministry in Theology and Apologetics from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary – Rawlings School of Divinity. He has also earned a Master’s in Divinity with an emphasis on church planting and church growth through Liberty University, and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biblical Studies through Moody Bible Institute. Dr. Murdoch teaches The Pentateuch, Old Testament Historical Books, The Gospels, and General Epistles in the Bible Program and the Bible Component in the Education Program at Central Africa Baptist University.
Liwoyo Mubanga

Mr. Mubanga is a Graduate of CABU and holds a Master of Arts in Ministry with Carolina University (USA). He is currently Head of Theological Studies by Extension at Central Africa Baptist University and serving as a missionary pastor for Immanuel Baptist Church in Kalulushi, Zambia. He also teaches Entrepreneurship in the Education department of CABU.
Samson Daka

Pastor Samson Daka teaches the Zambian Sign Language courses in the Sign Language and Deaf studies program. He is a certified ZSL instructor by the Zambian National Association of the Deaf.
David Indala
Lecturer
Mr. David Indala is a lecturer at Central Africa Baptist University in the School of Education lecturing in Literacy and Languages, Educational Psychology and Sociology of Education since 2016. He holds a Diploma in Education with Nkwame Nkrumah Teacher’s College, Bachelor of Arts Education with the University of Zambia, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law with the University of Zambia and a Diploma in Modern Salesmanship with Manchester National School of Salesmanship.
Pius Chanda

Chanda Pius holds a Master of Arts – Peace and conflict resolution- Specialized in Human Rights, Peace Building, and governance from Copperbelt University (CBU); and a BA in Bible at Central Africa Baptist University (CABU). He is involved in Church Planting and Missions and has pastored for 21 years at Faith Baptist Church Kwacha in Kitwe –Zambia; He is part of CABU –Board Of Director and Part time Faculty lecturing Christian Family and Global missions Courses.

Graham Bwalya is CABU Education faculty member under the Expressive Arts Department, teaching Art and Design, And Physical Education and Sports. He is currently studying for a Degree at Mufulira College of Education.
Dickson Njoroge

Mr. Dickson studied Education with English and Literature as the teaching subjects at Laikipia University, Kenya. He is furthering his studies at Carolina University, USA, pursuing Masters of Curriculum and Instructions. He Lectures Fundamentals of English, Research & Writing and Teaching the Bible courses in our School of Bible and Literacy and Language in our School of Education. Before coming to CABU he taught English and Literature for 11 years at Primary, Secondary and Tertiary levels.
Martha Kasangili

Ms. Kasangili graduated from Mukuba University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Education specializing in Chemistry. She is currently a Master’s in Education student with Carolina University located in North Carolina, USA. She teaches Integrated Science and History and Philosophy of Education at Central Africa Baptist University.
